I say an easier thing for you to say s goodbye. Depending on his age, he may not feel he needs to get one, especially if he has people giving him money, a place to live and all of that for free. If he is out of school he should be on his own and be forced to live like an adult- if he cant do that- he cant be around you.

Me personally, i went through that for 8 years with a loser and it did nothing but driveme into debt and ruin my credit- i say cut your losses now and look for a real man to work with you and take care of things....

The nicest way to tell him is "if you don't get a job we can't be together" and really mean it. Tell him this and say "you need to find that man (your dad's friend) and take him up on that offer. Totally STOPP!! supporting him in every way no money, sex, etc, absolutely Nothing!!....maybe he will get the point!! It's Very simple....and if he doesn't get one in a week I would call it quits!!

He is an idiot. Leave his ***. Don't be sitting in my position with a two year old that he is barely able to support. Whining all the time how he don't wanna work. Bragging how he works seven days a week but in reality only four nights a week. I am sure you love him but if he loved you he would get a job! Trust me if I had another choice ( and it looks like pretty soon I may) I'd leave him.

well, tell him if he thinks he has a future with you, the only way he will have one is by getting a job and doing something productive with his life because you are not going to be around someone that is not willing to make a life. GOod Luck

Can you say LAZY? There is no simple way of saying it to him, if he really wanted to work he would of let your dad help him. It sound's as if he wants you to take care of him and if you enjoy doing it then continue to do so, if not get out of the relationship.

Let him know that you are not going to stay with someone who can have a job, but won't take it. Then leave him. You need someone who is going to be a man and work his butt off.

Just be honest with him and tell him that you can not be with a guy who has no ambition so he has to start looking for a job or you will find someone who will.
