Sometimes a kind word from someone makes my day better.

A kind word, a smile or a polite gesture. We live in a hurried world and all to often we don't share basic human kindness so it's wonderful when it happens.

I would love to hear "You are a good, honest, hard-working person. Don't ever worry about [xyz]. We believe you. Now have a nice, cold cup of ice water and some food b/c you deserve it. Come on, eat. You don't feel well? It's ok. Take a break and lie down for a few minutes."
I guess everyone wants someone to take care of them sometimes ;)

a candy bar or big cookie left on a desk. if it's for your sweetie leave a note in lipstick on the bathroom mirror. leave his favorite morning drink in the fridge to take with him to work. My hubby worked as a chef in a rest and he would bring me home a strawberry crepe that he had made himself. Do a chore that the other person hates to do.

Finding something small to be grateful for.. we receive many things each day, but don't often recognize them.. when we do, we can feel better.
Yes, some gratitude from another is also very nice to receive.

Well he is pretty small and he brightens my day........its called "puppy love".
No matter how bad I look or how upset or pissy I get........he still loves me.
