Here is the thing. I have a friend (lets call her Beth) who was friends with a guy (lets call him Ralph) - firends with benefits, sometimes.

Something horrible happened with a mutual friend - Beth and I chipped in cuz it is the right thing to do. Thing is, through doing so, I told Ralph - and others, to let me know if I could help.

Now Ralph and I are becoming friends. This has hurt Beth - though she claims not to be mad at me, she is still upset. I really was only trying to be nice - I am married and have no intent of moving in on this guy, just wanted to be nice. Beth had mentioned she "hates" him before, but also has him as a friend on myspace, talks about him, hangs out with him some and returns the "booty calls". I was unsure what their issue was and was taking him at face value - which seemed nice to me.

Now I feel aweful cuz I didn't mean to hurt anyone. If anything I was trying to help. I already appologized - I just want to know if I did the wrong thing!

no i dont think you did the wrong thing the wrong thing would be if you are hitting on what she apparantly thinks is her man . and you are married and have no designs on this person then i think this girl better decide if she is to or fro. she apparantly doesnt know what she wants to do and maybe she knows what she wants and is waiting for him to come to some conclusion as to what he wants before she tells anyone what she wants in any case it sounds like a messed up deal. but i still dont think you did anything wrong.

If you are married, it is best to not to be close to another male. Just back off.
