Probably because their parents have done too much for them. I see nothing wrong with helping your kids, but there are some parents who do everything for them. Those parents are doing the kids and themselves a diservice. I know of a couple who are married and their mothers take turns helping them do laundry!!!! I could do that when I was 15. An older woman I work with (she's my mom's age) is still financially helping two of her kids who are my age and older. They really need to grow up and become responsible.

because their parents have made them that way. so many parents do not hold their children responsible for anything, including cleaning their own rooms. Of course kids are going to take advantage of that, it is just part of their make-up. As a result, they are going to rely upon their parents for everything

i will talk from journey. I lived at homestead with my mum and dad on a similar time as I went to college. when I graduated, i began making plans my wedding ceremony and have been given married approximately 6 months later. i'm happy i did no longer circulate away my mum and dad homestead as a results of fact i does not have been waiting to have sufficient money college. I have been given to stay at homestead for loose as long as i became into in school. My mum and dad would have enjoyed to have paid for my college yet could no longer have sufficient money it so with the aid of helping me out with a loose place to stay besides as some loose nutrition and them giving me some hundred dollars here and there for books incredibly helped me. in case you have great mum and dad, there's no would desire to run faraway from homestead once you turn 18.

THe cost of living is horribly high. I am barely making ends meet.
Maybe it's a safety factor. There are people who still live with their parents, but it does not make them UNSTABLE

They want the money, they don't want to work for it. They want mommy and daddy to hand them everything. Me on the other hand, I got the hell out of my parents house when I was 16, and never looked back, and now I'm living better than they are.

I think you mean "stable" lives. What generation are you speaking about? Older teens, twentysomethings, thirtysomethings?
