To me, both terms are a reflection of the ignorance and judgemental attitude of the speaker.I am so not into categories, and i see that so many of the questions online seem to deal with people putting other people into (usually) negative categories. It's been my experience that once people start labeling other people, where they are coming from is jealousy, or rivalry, or a perceived threat that they want to undermine-in short, where they are coming from is no place valid. Not to mention the fact that so many people have already pointed out that terms like "slut," "ho,"
"tramp," etc. are so sexist that nobody who has it together upstairs and thinks about what they are saying would ever use a term like that. On the few occasions when somebody challenges me for saying that these are unacceptable sexist terms(and I'm a guy, by the way), the first thing that I do is point out the fact that nobody ever really calls a guy a "ho,' even though some of these ffamous guys like Hugh Hefner and Magic Johnson have been with thousands of women.YOu know? They have had sex with way more different partners than any of these girls that people are calling tramps and hos and stuff, but nobody seriously calls them a tramp or trash.
Stevie Wonder can see where that's at.

A tramp sleeps with many different people, usually with a variety of people she knows or is acquainted with. A woman who is labeled as trash does all of the above AND is indiscriminate about who she sleeps with; many times also sleeps with anyone who may be in proximity, with no regard of where and when.

There isn't a difference.
It's just more derogatory words to call women.
I could list many more derogatory words that people would say has different meanings, like s lut, w hore, c*ck tease, h ole but I think you get the point. Look at the answers you've gotten: only one person said that men can be "trash" and "tramps" too and the rest have said that this is what women are called. Hence, derogatory words to call women.
A derogatory term is just that: a derogatory term and there is no difference.

Trash is low class person, acts and lives that way. Tramp sleeps around. And in reality men can be either one also!

Well Sonny kept Cher around for years and you know she was a scamp and a tramp and a bit of a vamp but if she was trash she would have been gone within a week. Have a good one:-)

So-called "Trash" is what's left of a woman after the world trashes her. So-called "Tramp" is what's left of a woman after she trashes herself.

A tramp sleeps around with every & anyone. A woman who is trash will drag her children with her! (exposing them to every & anyone).

I think a tramp would be more fun, also she's probably better educated. Neither one would be suitable for more than a weekend.
