hun,i know what you mean...it really sucks. drink hot tea, pick your favorite flavor, or hot chocolate... sometimes my mom makes me a tea using fruits and a cinnamon stick...it's very soothing and i curl up on the couch with my cup of tea and talk with moms.
stay away from salty foods like chips and pretzels and also stay away from sodas...they make you even more bloated. drink plenty of water.
u can use heating pads, try taking a long nap, take a long warm bubble bath and light some scented candles, take a long hot shower, or just tell keep telling yourself that you feel no pain and that the pain will go away.
change into some comfy clothes. i hate it when i have cramps and i'm bloated, and i'm wearing pants that have a button, so i immediately change into some shorts or pj's (with an elastic band. LOL) and a t-shirt, and i feel a lot more confortable...and a bit more relaxed, even though i have cramps. so try getting into some comfy clothes. take care.

try 800mg of advil three times a day (every 8 hours) unless you have some sort of blood disorder (such as clotting disorders), or any internal bleeding. also, try a heating pad or a soak in a hot tub or hot bath. another thing you can try is to take a B complex vitamin during your PMS time - B complex can sometimes help your cramps to subside.

Mentally, you should try to keep your mind off of it. Do something fun and think that you don't have cramps and it won't seem like you do. If you put a towel with warm water soaked in it over your lower belly area, that helps too.
