No. Hate is the result of misunderstanding, and as some people have said, it leaves a mark on your soul.
Do you notice, that often, if people really hate somthing, they become it?
So hating somthing is like carrying around a burden, it is an emotional burden.
Everybody likes some things and doesnt like other things, but hate is a passionate dislike. It consumes energy, and turns it into darkness. If you are creating more darkness through hate, then you are contributing to whatever it is you hate.
If somthing or someone hurts you, its better simply to feel hurt, to be in pain, and then seek understanding. Not only will this understanding heal the pain, but it will transform what the somthing or someone did, which is better for them.
This doesnt mean that we should endorse evil people to hurt others or do evil things. But it does mean that instead of responding in kind, we make a lower thing into a higher thing, and this is better for everybody.

No-for the true meaning of hate is to seethe, acutely dislike and not just not liking something but a ery strong and powerful emotion that can block out all reason and objective thinking. Hate hard enough and long enough and it will consume you. It is when we hate that wae become capable of murder, hate crimes, being extremely unkind and so on. I myself think life is too short. Were I ti begin to dislike another person that is corrupts my spirit I would completely disassociate myself first and then [pray for God to take this burden from me.

of course it is ok to hate. hate is a natural emotion. Hate is the opposite of love. Someone once told me that inorder to really love a person, you must also hate them a little too. I think thats true. In order to really love someone you must hate them alittle b/c you know that by loving them they have the power to cause you great pain, and for that, you hate them a little. Without hate, would there even really be love?

Why can't there ever be an easy question. God said in the bible that in order to love thy neighbor you first need to love yourself. If you hate someone there's probably something about them that you hate in yourself or are envious of. A person should take a good look at him/herself when hatred towards someone surfaces in them. There can be no love for anyone if one hates even one person b/c that means you hate yourself. Even a little is enough to prevent you from loving the way God wants you to.
God is the supreme example of that. He loves himself so much that he wanted to create an image of himself to show others how incredible love is. After Adam and Eve, 6 billion plus of us exists. Even after sin he kept at it, creating more and more of us. God reminds us that love is eternal, conquers sin, and that love never fails. We are born with sin, and one of our sins is hatred. Hatred turns to envy, covetting, and all the other sins God can only invent words to.
It's not okay to hate, but it's still inbred in us as soon as we are born into this world. It's not okay that we don't try to wake up and fight the hatred that lives in us. It is a constant reminder that love is hard work and Jesus fought that much harder to fight hatred to love us.

Hate is too toxic a word that eats your soul slowly. Don't hate, just dislike.
Love one and all, try to bear with one another; you dont have to like, but love them all. the world will be a much better place to live in.
you can do it...

It is never o.k. to hate. Not now not ever. You cannot think, reason, or be reasonable when you hate. Some people have to work at not hating, anyone who has worked at it has never regretted working at it.

sure - but hate behavior, actions not people.
i hate my potatoes touching my peas. I like the potatoes, I like the peas - I just hate the action of them touching - see what I mean?
To hate another human just uses up too much of yourself that could be doing better, more productive things.

there's no answer for that from someone else- if you have a good reason for it and feel okay about it, as long as you don't hurt someone you hate, you have the right. How could anyone not hate Hitler or his henchmen?

I think one should try his best not to hate, only hate something/ one as a last resort. hate wastes a lot of energy.
