Barring the basic stuff...marriage, kids.

In 1994 I did a bicycle ride from San Francisco, CA to Washington, D.C.

It took 62 days and it was to raise awareness for the disabled. Believe it or not it was a fraternity event. I had to raise $4,000 to ride, then had to ride 4,000 miles.

Aside from it being a good cause, there is really no better way to see the country.

Serving a two-year voluntary mission for my church. It meant very limited contact with my family, living in a totally foreign place with strangers, doing it at my family's expense, and facing constant rejection all while postponing my schooling. But, I did it and I loved it.
