Are you serious? We have a communist in Cuba. Go live there if you love tyranny.

If I really thought he/she could do a good job and fix things, sure why not. The Dems and Repubs obviously aren't doing anything for us.
Edit: What people don't understand is that there is not true, ideal communism anywhere in this world. No one knows how it would work because of that whole power corrupts thing. They also don't realize there's probably been a Communist candidate on the ballot every election, but they don't get the press the two main parties do.

True communism doesn't exist anywhere because they never get past step two. The Dictator of the Proletariat never steps down after the country is formed and so those countries are just
Socialist Dictatorships. So, no, there are NO communist candidates and I am not willing to vote Socialist, France isn't doing very well with that and there are plenty of Democrats here if I were inclined to vote leftist.

I would not vote for a Full communist (lennonistic type) but I think that there are some good communist traits and that someone with a communist background but that was more towards the middle of the road would not be a bad candidate. There is not financial backing though.
I'm not talking about the type as seen in China or Russia....

No, but I do believe we should have more political parties in this country- with this being the free world an all we have a 2 party system which is a bunch of B.S. Republican's and Democrat's dominate the voting. We need more support for the other parties and get some new blood in office and stray away from the same ol same ol.

No. Definatelly not.
All communism ever did was put people backwards.
If you look at history, people were promised great things, but it never came to pass. Things never disolved into a peaceful, classless society.
The leaders grew fat while the people stayed poor. Horrible atcrocities were commited in the name of progress.
Besides that, it is human nature to be competitive, when you take away the reward of getting rich for harder work, then there is no reason to work.
Our system is scarred and messed up yes, but it still ranks way higher and is more succesful than communism ever was.

I don't think so. The United States is a democratic country. Communism exists mainly in Asia.

No. The chances of a Communist candidate winning is slim. Plus, the majority of Americans feel uneasy and are uninformed about communism.

No, because even though in a perfect world communism would be the best form of government, we are not in a perfect world
if I voted for a communist candidate then my vote would be even more wasted than if i had voted for Nader

NO. Anyone can plainly see that socialist policies do not work, here or anywhere. The reason this country is as vibrant and powerful as it is today is because of free enterprise and the freedom to choose ones own path. Some social programs are necessary for the needy and, unfortunately, for the lazy, but we have to much abuse of those programs now. We don't need more.

Don't be silly, communism is a thing of the past. Even China is admitting that. N. Korea and Cuba are the only hard liners left in the world. It doesn't work bub. People are greedy and those in power are in absolutely power in that system. It will never work.
