According to the 2000 census, there are 640,817 persons with Hawaiian ancestry in the U.S. (239,655 in Hawai`i, 401,162 on the mainland); however, it is esimated that only around 5,000 are actually full blooded Hawaiians.

Ah, such an innocent question! How many natives are left in any part of the world where the Whites colonized? To the utter destruction of local people, culture, systems and mode of worship only it has happened and happening since millennia. But, they always swear by Freedom, Equality and Fraternity! It is all shiploads of bovine excretion. Or, at the most, ignorance of History.
