It is ridiculous. No matter what he does they will be against it. Bush is doing the right thing over in the Middle East. I question his handling of the economy but everything else isnt as bad as the media makes it...

And have you noticed that most of the Bush bashers can't even spell or form sentences properly?? And yet they have the nerve to call President Bush stupid!

Not me. And what you're saying is inherently untrue.

I strongly question his handling of the economy. I also question the fact that his people altered scientific documents to suit their own needs when THEIR own people found that global warming was a true issue. I also question the WORST foreign policy in the post-Vietnam era.

You seriously think we're doing the right thing? You seriously think that Bush's people have anything resembling foresight?

Here's some examples of a complete lack of foresight in their foreign policy:

1. While Iran had a Reformist President and majority in Parliament (still under the thumbs of the Ayatollahs, but a step in the right direction nonetheless), Bush calls Iran a part of the "Axis of Evil". As a result: the Ayatollahs strike all Reformists off the ballots, and Iran elects the most right-wing president on their ballot - in fact one who helped start the 1979 revolution. Now they are the biggest threat to peace in all of the Middle East and South Asia - and are on their way to nuclear arms.

2. Not being able to foresee - despite warnings - the insurgency. Why? Why not at least have a plan for it? Because they were so cocksure that their plan was perfect. No Plan B's are necessary when you're perfect, right? Three years later, and more people are dying on a daily basis than under Saddam.

3. Insisting on the Elections in Palestine without seeing that Hamas would win. Democracy's good for everyone, huh? Tell the Palestinians that? They elected idiots and look where it got them. Instead of following the advice of and supporting the more moderate Abbas when he called for a delay in the elections until a more peaceful time.

4. Ignoring Kim Jong Il until he moves from crazy leader with lesbian haircut into legitimate threat. Sure the missiles don't work...YET.

5. Allows the Israeli conflicts to continue on long enough, that - even if Hezbollah is eliminated - it will only create MORE enemies for both the US and Israel.

I don't like that my president is doing nothing but spending the US into bankruptcy and screwing up world relations, but when that's what's happening, the media has to report it. Facts aren't bashing. You can't make lemonade out of turds.

_______

And LeoGirl thinks the debt is being reduced, so that tells you how much she knows.

It's funny that you mention that you are unhappy with the way Bush has handled the economy, because economic growth has been strong in the last few years (it seems like the average American isn't aware of this). As for the Middle East, the media just reports the Iraq and Israel-Lebanon wars negatively because things aren't going well. And they're only getting worse. Bush and his administration should have been cognizant of the numerous potential pitfalls of an Iraqi invasion, a war that wasn't entirely necessary for national security. They weren't. So they are "bashed" by "liberals", and this is entirely fair, IMO.

"THOU SHALT NOT KILL"

Sure. Get a Christian President to start a war that had nothing to do with the United Nations. Invade another country and bomb it to pieces. See what happens to America. bin Laden has warned repeatedly that 9/11 can happen again, and with the troops making a total mess in Iraq, I think we better all fasten out seat belts.

What about global warming? Why will some people not wake up and realize that global warming is out of control? Al Gore is 100% right about it. Listen to the scientists and stop relying on superstitions and religious myths !!

And why is Arnold Schwarzenegger distancing himself from Bush? Because he wants to win the next election and he knows that associating with Bush will go against him. See the attached.

And what about the National Debt? See the attached. This is not Monopoly money, folks. Wait until you need pensions later on. Where will the money be? Not in your pockets!

There are just a couple of examples of why people are speaking out about Bush. It is NOT "Bush bashing". It is about getting people to wake up and smell the coffee before it is too late! But go ahead and bury your heads in the sand if you like.

Not me, and it's not just liberals who are bashing this dunce, either. Look at the polls. There can't be that many liberals in this country. Are you really saying that most of middle America is so shallow that they can be led by the media? Are you still saying that only those who hold the same views you do are intelligent Americans? That's called elitism, and it's one of the things that turn many people off about the whole ultra-right wing.

I'm sick of it too.First of all Clinton wasn't perfect either. What kind of example was he for the country ? He should have been impeeched ,but of course because he was a liberal we overlook these things. The economy hasn't been better in years, but wait and watch the democrats taking the credit for it if they win.Clinton ran it down in 8 yrs and then they blamed Pres.Bush when he took over. What a joke ppl.....it all takes time to run it down and build it up again.I think he is doing a fine job.Of course I would like to see something done about the gas prices, but otherwise he is doing a great job.He sure has a lot of responsibility.

please define "doing the right thing in the Middle East"
I don't know about you but exactly, what in the last 2 or so years did he do right? Did find Osama bin Laden like he promised. No, he did not. Did he fixed Iraq? No a civil war almost broke out there and people there only have power a couple hours a day. Did he broke the terrorist cells? I don't think so. Just tell me what is so right about W.

How can you honestly say that? How many people that you know or friends of your knew will not be coming back from Iraq? He lied about weapons of mass destruction and said the war wasn't over oil just to get us there. If it really isn't over oil and we just went because their leader was a horrible person doing horrible things to his own people then why has he not done anything about the atrocities that occur in Africa on a daily basis. Heinous crimes against the people by their government. ANS: they don't have any oil.

I agree, no matter what he does it is the wrong thing. He takes the blame for so much crap that is not even his fault. People blame the US President for a lot of things that the pres has no control over. He may be the most poweful man in the world but even his powers are limited. I have seen so many things that ppl yell about that congress has the power over but they take no blame.

the economy is middling. the middle east if a frightful mess. bush has EARNED the bashing, liberal or neocon, that he gets. people don't go out of their way to express their outrage, it simply comes pouring right out of them. do you think america is better off since he was given the role of DECIDER. he is not doing the right things in the middle east. he is escalating the CYCLE OF VIOLENCE, not dampening it! of course you'd be from north dakota, it must be a hotbed of rational discourse there......

Yes, he aggravated the highly unstable people in the Middle East (who are now killing people on a daily basis), but he's doing such a good job.

Has he found Osama Bin Laden? No. Isn't that why we went over there in the first place? Bin Laden isn't even a priority anymore.
