The song I want "Too Little, Too Late" by JoJo is only in video at iTunes. If I buy it, will the song still play on my iPod Nano, or no?

No you cannot put videos on an iPod nano at all. Not even the sound will play because it's all part of the video file.

What you could do is get the song off of a friend, maybe who has the cd, and load it on your puter, or go to limewire and get it there. You can't put videos on an Ipod nano, they are too small, but once you have the song you can.

The Ipod Nano does not have video capability. So you will not be able to get it on the nano.

You shouldn't have a problem connecting any iPod to iTunes and uploading your music.
