there is a high possibility he will have an allstar season....last yr was kinda dissapointing for his standards...they did not win the championship and all his stats and mins went down...he's probably looing to bounce back...if he averages 17 or 18 ppg and have a very good record before the all star break he would most likely be voted in as a reserve for the all star team...the only thing that will probably hold him back is possible injuries...if he's healthy then i would say there is a big chance he's gonna be an allstar... the new nba rules usually favor the offensive player...especially the players who like to attack the rim and seek out contact...w/c is ginobili's strong points...

There are a couple factors hindering Manu Ginobili from being an "All-star" caliber player. Last year, injuries to his calf and ankle hampered him all season and all year he never seemed to at 100 percent. If he can remain healthy, he's got a great shot. However, the emergence of Tony Parker last year as a dangerous slashing point guard could cut into Manu's stats, specifically his point totals. I'm sure Manu could make the All-star team this season, but I don't expect him to get over 16-17 ppg, 4-5 apg, or 5 rpg. (still a solid season by any standard)

oh yeah. look for manu to bounce back this coming season, he and the spurs had a disappointign one last season and they are looking to bounce back stronger than ever. ginobili is the type of player who is resilient. barring anymroe injusries to him, he should be back to the manu that we all know and love (hate if your detroit). now, the spurs will have a three pronged attack in manu, tony and tim. that should make them very formidable. the problem is, with all the great guards in the west (paul will probably be an allstar next season) manu may not make the allstar team even if he plays like one.

The Lakers. there is actual NO way every physique could, of their perfect recommendations, bench Kobe, and Manu does not shelter properly on the small forward place, and isn't any longer speedy adequate to guard one million/2 of all beginning factor guards. and that i doubt Kobe could start up at factor guard the two. the only attainable concern is Kobe beginning at SF and Manu at SG, yet Kobe does not decide for to start at SF so as that does no longer final long the two. The Celtics are yet another team. Pierce and Allen are locked up for the wing starters, and as quickly as lower back, Manu can no longer shelter at factor. The Pistons are yet another team. Even Saunders does no longer dare ruining the chemistry between Billups & Rip, and Tayshaun is purely too effectual a rebounder with the Pistons lacking a genuine midsection on the 2d. there is 3 perfect there. there is in all likelihood greater if ya think of approximately it.

Sure, he's still young by NBA standards and he has a great surrounding cast that knows how to use his strengths.
