I had an old Ford Probe with that smell. I used carpet cleaner and Febreeze on every square inch of the upholstery. The smell did go away... eventually!

Having this problem (because I left the windows down in my truck one night a few months ago ~ I knew it was cat pee because when I opened my truck door at 5 a.m., the darn cat nearly scared me to death when he jumped out and the truck smelled terrible, but had no clue where the cat had peed). First, I had to let it air out (obviously leaving the windows down) and my neighbor said to spray febreeze on all the fabric (I have fabric, not leather) and after a couple of days of the smell was gone. It was definitely a bad smell on the way to work for a few days!

Do the following:
a) place a couple of lemons cut into half into the car for a week;
b) tie up a bunch of Pandan leaves (Pandanus latifolius, P. amaryllifolius) about one fistful and leave it in the car for a week;
c) place a thick stick of charcoal about 1 foot long and leave it in the car for a week.
If this doesn't work then i doubt anything else can :)

If you take out the seats, the carpet can be removed completely and scrubbed and hosed. It is not that hard. The seats have 4 bolts each, then there's a few trims around the carpet edges that need a Phillips screwdriver. Pick a sunny day and you can have it out, cleaned, dried and back in the same day.

lol good luck with that! My cat peed on a love seat in my room and I febreezed it and used other cleaning supplies and nothing worked. I had to get rid of it!
They do have urine begone stuff, but I don't know how well it works.
Good luck! ;)

Pet stores sell a product that removes urine stains and odor from pets. You can also use baking soda in a water solution.
