Interesting that you chose the age of 35 years old.......and over because I think for we women at that time, if you've been married or seperated and somehow life makes it such that you are unsure of yourself, your spouse or your situation, then the Internet, the chat rooms, all of it becomes more interesting. It is the guys who have gone through stuff, handled it, are secure with themselves, the opposite maybe too of what you have at home, that makes you so interested. However I went through that period of time when my husband and I were no longer together, and have to say, what it ultimately showed me, was that I had to search within myself, not to others in order to find peace and happiness. My husband needed to do his own changing, do his own thing, and when God wants you to be back together, oh He lets you know!!! LOL It was the farthest thought in my mind, and here we are today, back today, having gone through a lot as a couple now and with our kids and stronger and more in love than ever before!!! Amazing isn't it? I think it is when women are sad, depressed, and lonely that they reach to places and people that really is like a band-aid, and you need to truly take a look at yourself and who you are, and find the inner strength and peace. I pray for all!!!!

Well I am not over thirty five but am 29, But my answer is probally most women at that age find the internet something different to there lives, being they are in a set routine whether it be a family and kids or work but it is probally the same stuff they do day in and day out and there is never the same stuff on the internet. I dont know but it was a good try.

I like to be on the Internet because I think it's fascinating how some people think and what questions are asked. It is also a good way to find out useful information. By the way, I am 36 and happily married. In fact, my husband is sitting here while I answer this question.

I am 36, married, have 2 kids, 1 stepson, a crazy huband, go to school full time (finally finishing my BS) and work. It isn't an escape because I'm bored, but it lets me wind down before the next load of laundry, disaster, or visitor.

It gives you a means to escape and interact at the same time. Does that make sense? I guess in simple terms, it's a way to escape reality when reality is not going too well. I'm not married by the way, but I used to be and I'm 44.

ok before my divorce this was a means of escape. I'm not engaged to a wonderful man and i find myself having to work time in for checking email and things. So if its a means of escape something is wrong in the relationship

i dont think married women over 35 seek out chat rooms as much as younger women or girls. it holds nothing serious are lasting.most of things said arent true. and women 35 and older have stable relationships so they dont have to turn to b... s...
