I personally believe they go to heaven. Just the way my animals look me in my eyes, and they way they understand me. Makes me think they have a soul too. Besides! didn't ya watch all dogs go to heaven? =D

I truly believe that animals do go to heaven. there will be another earth created for all those who believe. If dogs do not have souls, why do they cry and hurt and love and protect. We all do those same things. It has never been mentioned anywhere in the bible that an animal does not have a soul nor does it say they don't go to heaven either. No one has ever been there (to heaven or hell) and come back to tell us if there is animals there or not. so i can only believe that they are.

Despite the Christian beliefs, I have to say I definately believe that animals do have a soul. They feel, see, and emotions. When they get hurt you can see the pain in their eyes. I'm not sure if they neccesarily go to heaven or hell. I believe they might be reincarnated even though I am a christian with christian beliefs. Animals are much like us humans and I believe they deserve a right to be happy and go to heaven.

It wouldn't be Heaven to me if there were no animals. If there are no animals in Heaven, I want to go where they go instead.

I think so.
Here is a poem that someone sent me when I lost a pet. I like to think it's true;

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especilly close to someone here, that pet goes to rainbow bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friend so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again. Just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they miss somone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to fun from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carry him faster, and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cking together in joyous reunion never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head and you look once more into to the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the bridge together...
Authour unknown.
