Some say that it has been proven that on cloudy days everyone seems to be a bit off in their daily routine. it has something to do with how the sun affects us. for example: in russia where it tends to be dark for most of the winter in the artic circle area, they actually use sun lamps for people to keep their spirits up. i saw an article on russia in the national geographic magazine that showed pictures of people using the sun lamps to maintain some kind of nutrient in the body. It had something to do with a certain vitamin that needs the sun to help metabolize it.
i'm sorry i can't tell you the name of the article or when it was published but i have seen the article. i hope that helps.

usually when it rains, it is cloud n darker. this puts an instant change on our mood and energy. so when it is really raining n is grey we usally feel less energetic, happy n more lethargic.
People who suffer from SAD- seasonal affected disorder are very prone to weather changes.
rain is more than just water!!

Maybe its connected to the way we feel. Like people who suffer with SAD, maybe it affects us by depressing our Syke. It can inhibit us in terms of plans we have made such as putting the washing out on the line or going shopping?
