In NH a student can legally quit school at the age of 18. Until then a parent or guardian has to sign permission for the student to leave school.

Since the law differs somewhat from state to state, go to your state's Dept of Ed. The info will be there. If you aren't able to find the info, you will be able to email someone in the dept. of ed with your questions. The tele.# will also be listed on the site.

Depends on the state I think, but for most places it's 16.

16 but it is stupid at any age. Education is power. It doesn't demand sucess, but it gives you the insight about the world around you that you wouldn't otherwise have.

Don't do it, it is not worth it. Suck it up and stick it out! You will be better off no matter how much of a pain you think it is now.
