I'm just wondering if there are any germans in the Newport News/VA area besides me.

Who knows... there are a lot of Americans who think they are German when really its that their great grandparents were German, but they themselves know little of German culture and don't speak German. You should come back to Germany. Its nice over here, at least in the Rheinland-Pfalz area the people are really nice. Good luck finding other Germans in Virginia!

Yo, im half german. Born in Germany, came to US when i was 2, been speaking english and stuff ever since. My mom is American and my dad is 100% german. I tak german lesons still. the funniest phrase ive learned to say is "Mien Nos Ein Un Unterbrachen" that means "my nose will not stop running" I love it!

Genetically the US, UK and Germany are largely of Anglo Saxon descent so we're all kinda German in a way! Maybe zats vie we are ze top countries!

you will probably find hundreds of them now or at least those that say they are.
I went to Germany to visit last year.
Had a wonderful time. got a lot of respect, was treated well, met really nice people and had some great food.
would love to go again.
