Each time the location changes (the scene changes) the city is written on the screen with one letter highlighted in white. Do the specific highlighted white letters mean anything?

No. It's just an artistic image used throughout the series to match the title card at the beginning. Of course, I could be lying and it actually spells out a secret clue to the entire series if you collect all the highlighted letter in order of appearance.....

Umm no. Its like how the title ALIAS has the "S" in the same style. Its just the way they do it. Alias rocks.

I don't think so. Never figured out if there was some "code" there. Could very well be, but I think it is just to show some contrast.
