Lip gloss, maybe some sparkle dust, even a touch of a subdued blush. Both my girls 10 and 12 know how to put on full makeup and look like they aren't wearing any, that of course is for special occasions. They are both in school chorus and want to be seen from the back rows. Once in a while they want to wear a dress or just pep up an outfit, they do this very well and appropriate to their age. Brown or light mascara is a good choice, and tinted lipgloss is fun.

I think that an 11 year should be allowed to wear a milky brown eye shadow and some tinted lip balm. Make sure they know how to apply the eye shadow evenly and smoothly. This will highlight your youthful skin. You could even do a light powdering under the eyes and around nose. NOT heavy or cakey though. Light and glowing is key! :)

Neither and NONE! By the time you are 22 you be looking to get plastic surgery to decorate your face. What the hell does an 11 year old need make up for. Live your childhood wait till you are an apporiate age. Unless you are gracing Vanity Fair or VOGUE at the age of 11- you are just wasting your time and money.

Burt's Bees shimmer stick in Rhubarb
and brown black mascara but that's it because 11 is too young to do much else--let her look her age but she's probably eager to put it on so I think you should do a sheer lipstick or the shimmer sticks like I mentioned earlier and mascara--that's it, no blush, no cover-up, no eyeliner because that would make her look older, let her natural beauty shine through she's got years ahead of her to put on make up :] hope that helped

None, a good kick up the **** for wearing make up should be the order of the day however in saying that should the eleven year old be able to earn her own money and get straight A's in every subject in a government school and be champion in a sport with an inclination to represent her country soon , well the I don't care because that eleven year old IS going places. If not, the an eleven year old only thinking about wearing make up has one thing on her mind and that is to attract boys, sop she is on her way to shortly spreading her legs for anyone who comes around and that's a short tract to a completely wasted life of misery, show me any different !

everyone is going to have a diff. answer for that because evryone starts at a dif.. time but when i was 11 i was aloud to where a little but i think that make-up should always look natural unless its like when ur going out at night or a situation like that but just for an everyday look it should be to lighten up your face a bit and look pretty, but natural. hope this helps and happy holidays!

Chapstick isn`t classed as make-up as such.
Anyway why should an 11 year old NEED to wear make-up?It`s a mistake in my view to let a child go anywhere in public wearing make-up ,those pageants for over-made-up prepubescents that america love so much are just sick.

It depends. I would say none to school, but let her wear what she wants on the week-ends around her friends, especially if her friends are wearing it. It's fun at that age to experiment and as long as you aren't disrupting grades or having other behaviour problems, I see no harm in whatever make-up they want to wear. by the way, I have a 15 year old that I've allowed to wear make-up outside of school and she's not the least bit boy crazy or doing it for bad reasons, she just likes it and I think that's fine.
