They stopped producing them in 1958. They only produced them for about 49 years. (1909 to 1958).

I believe that they stopped in 1958 I know that the 1943 wheat penny is the only year that they made a silver wheat penny. My mom is lucky enough to have gotten one of these!

Yeah I have one of those wheat pennies as well and sadly it is only worth uh? Well a penny. They aren't all that rare. Sorry

The 1943 one cent was made of steel not silver, and 1958 was the last year they were made.
