I am 12 and lately all I have been feeling like is sleeping and being tired.I got checked for diabetes and it said I don't have diabetes.So is this just puberty?

have you started havind your period? if not , it is the sign of your period approaching. but if you are having your period, just visit your physician. but i think you are moving toward puberty. i experienced such thing when i was 11.

You might want to go to the doctor and get checked for mono. When I was about your age I was tired all the time and slept a lot and then one day I got really sick and was sick for like a week and it turned out I had a very bad case of mono. So just to be on the safe side I would go to the doctor and get tested.

That's sad but your probably just so used to sleeping on the couch stuffing yourself with chips and watching MTV,That, that is your natural habitat until you start getting up and moving around!It is not puberty my dear friend.

this could be diet related .if you don't eat the right foods for a long time your body gets run down and your immune system is low .eat lots of fruit and veges ,drink milk and go to bed at the same time every night . ask your mum to get you a tomic with vitamin b1 in it

If you're female, you might want to get a test for iron-deficiency anemia. One of the symptoms is that you're always tired. This form of anemia means that the iron levels in your blood are low...easily treated with iron pills or increased iron consumption

ya and this tired feeling will last for about 5-6 yrs. Man all i did was sleep in high school. GOOD TIMES lol

you will also get really moody - welcome to puberty lol

Yea.. when you go into your teenage years, you tend to get really tired all of the time and you seem like you can never get enough sleep.

Nope i think its just puberty and your body is adjusting to the changes and the new changes that will occur.

Most likley... thats all i did when i started puberty. I slept and ate all the time & i had the worst mood swings... hang in there.

Have you been checked for mononucleosis? You might want to get checked. It wouldn't be a bad idea to go to a doctor for a check-up anyway. I hope you feel better. :)

Yup! And believe me, puberty comes with many, many mixed emotions. you will feel seperated, you will feel controlled, free you will feel new things you've never felt before.
