If your car has a cast iron manifold it is more economical to replace rather than fix. Cast iron can be welded but is problematic if it is not done right. If you car has steel tube type manifolds, you could have it welded and it should hold.

If I had to guess a price....

about 50-75 bucks for a good used manifold and about the same amount to have installed. If you choose to go to a Pontiac dealer, you should expect it should be around 3-4 hundred dollars. The dealer will want to use a new manifold and then charge up to 100.00 per hour to fix
