they're called cramps, sweetie, and I"m afraid they go with the territory. I get the same thing, cramping so bad it made me sick to my stomach and I almost want to throw up. Go get some Midol, maximum strength (should be with the "feminine products" in the grocery store). It works wonders. If you can't, try do a little walking. Believe it or not, it will help ease the pain. I've heard a heating pad on the stomach area works too.

Sometimes that just happens, and your body changes as you get older. I started blacking out because of my period around 16. I don't know exactly what causes it, except that your hormones are fluxuating and can cause weird things to happen in your body. If it's really bad, talk to your doctor. The doctor can help you figure out something that can help balance your hormones.
One idea is you might have an increased sensitivity to salt or caffeine during your period. Those are things some of us have to avoid during that time of the month.

Dear JustAGirl
Do you have stomach aches. If so, don't worry, as it's totally normal (actually in our medicine, it is termed as a problem/minor disease - i won't go into the technicalities). Some girls have it so bad that it lasts for 3-4 days. If the pain is excruciating, then take a Paracetamol tablet to relieve the pain.
Cheers

Hmmm I think if I were U, I would be talking to my doctor about this, it don't sound like a normal thing a woman goes through during that time of month.

It's the chemicals. I get really sick too. Going on birth control can help even it out, but talk to your doctor first.

It's normal. You are just having cramps, and yes, they can create nausea. Take advil or midol, it should help.

May be normal - everybody is different, but if I was you (I have endometriosis) I would be asking your GP to send you to a gynaecologist!!

Try to visit a doctor, see what he tells you, I don't think that's normal.
