Definitely average and friendly; these kinds of people actually advance faster than brilliant but ****** workers because managers need to be more empathetic in today's high stress work environment.

In football terms: would you want Terrell Owens on your team? He's an amazing athlete, but such a disruption that he will ruin your team... just ask the 49ers and Eagles!

People who think they are brilliant are assholes, because NO ONE is "brilliant" except maybe for a shine on a car, or a quality of coin.
