Why does my computor sound like an overworked fridge?? I've done a defrag, run adaware ,avg.7.1 and spybot.

Nothing in task manager running that shouldnt be. Only 6mnths old. Maybe dust in the fan??

You may need to replace your fan. The fan is one of the first thing to go...particularly if it's hot ofcourse.

How many programs are your running? Hit ctrl, Alt, then delete, the only thing you need there is explorer. I agree it can be a fan, that is a common occurrence...Good Luck...

Yeah, I built my PC and it has 7 fans (Overclocked my CUP ;-) ) and one of them went bad, just replaced it and it was no problem.
