forgot to add that we already chaged the fuse and now it is blown again!!!

check your fuses.

Take it to the dealer they can send it off to have it rebuilt. It will cost about 400-750 depending on the year and model but if it is 00 or newer I can almost guarantee this is what needs to be done. Sorry for the bad news. The IPC has to be programmed just like if replacing the PCM. That is a good chunk of the expense.

If it is blowing fuses, there is a short either in the wiring or in the instrument cluster. Pull the cluster out and replace the fuse. If it blows with he cluster removed it is in the wiring. If it does not put the cluster back in to see if it blows the fuse. It is going to be a matter of trial and error, or you can take it to an electrical specialist!
