I would guestimate that after 8-10 hours your body would start to feel fatigue, especially your eyes if you weren't taking decent brakes.
Supposedly a few teenagers in Asia have died from shock or starvation from planting themselves in front of the computer for 36 or 72 hours straight.
It's up to you, but if you're going to be using the computer for more than 7 hours, get up and stretch, talk a walk outside to ease fatigue, and drink enough water.

What ever your little heart desires, just remember to take breaks and look away from the screen from time to time, like any thing else there is always a downside to anything you do a lot of. The Key in my opinion is moderation.

Under any circumstances.. Never stay on more than 24 hrs. a day. Anything up to and including 24 hrs. is ok.
