Thats right! I forgot Bush and his lawless buddies have taken away some of our rights! I forgot freedom of speech no longer exists. You cannot say what you want because big brother is listening to you.

I forgot that they can look at my library records and see what books I am checking out.
I forgot that they are spying at what I do and say on the internet.
I forgot they have tapped my phone line to see who and what I am talking to and about.
I forgot they check my bank records to see where I spend my money.

My respect for Bush hit an all time low when the Patriot Act was reinstated. This is the biggest load of horseshit I have ever lived to see. While you sing its praises now, you will be crying later when there is a van sitting outside your house monitoring what you are saying in the privacy of your own home. I am wondering if the next thing is radio and television control, and having only state sponsored propaganda broadcasts on just like they do in facist countries.

You "reds" want to control people. Us "blues" respect freedom for what it should be and live as such.

You "reds" push your religions agenda. Us "blues" believe in freedom of religion.

Keep running your fundamentalist facist White House. It will all come to an end when election time comes. That is, if we are not in a dictatorship by then.

Patriot Act. Patriot Missile.

People have a right to express themselves in non-violent and non-violence inducing ways. They also have a basic human right to privicy and non-interferance by the authorities in their lives, unless they do something which harms other people.

But I understand. I used to think like you. Then pupety hit me and I realised that I wasn't the centre of the universe.

In all honesty, I think it's really only a small percentage of liberals (including, alas, most of the Democratic Party leadership) who feel that decorum and logic are unnecessary in public debate. Most of the liberals I know are actually quite reasonable. That small percentage, though, can be quite vocal - not unlike that Pekingese that lives next door...

In the US one of the guaranteed freedoms is Freedom of Speech. Everyone gets a say, red, blue, yellow, brown, whatever.

THE PATRIOT ACT SUCKS!

if you have actually read it, i'm sure you would not support it. they allow the secretary of state to take a kid in custody, no questions asked, no courts, nothing. i strongly oppose the patriot act.

GO BIG BLUE GO!
