As far as free goes, I'd try any of your local grocery stores or Dollar stores that stock shelves and replenish their supplies on a pretty much daily basis. I'm sure you can find some free boxes at some of those places although it may be tough to do on so little time/notice. Wish I could be of more help!

I have had plenty of experience with this. Go to the grocery stores. Wal Mart has more turn over, so therefore they are
unpacking more boxes. Most stores give their boxes away in
the morning. You need to ask for them ahead tho as they smash
them if no one ask for them. Also ask friends. I wish you good luck on your move.

when we was moving around 11pm everynight we would call up the walmart for the night manager, and they would save boxes, or they just let you go get what you want. You may have to wait a little bit for them to get them unpacked but if you wait long enough you should get enough. Ask them for a time, and stuff and let them know you need alot. I hope this helps Good luck on your move and i hope you like your new place

One of the best places to go is to a Super Walmart. If you are there after midnight, they usually unload new stuff in the aisles and the boxes are just to be picked by anyone who wants it. I used this scheme during my last move and it worked without me having to spend aeven a dime !!!

I don't know how things work where you are, but here, in London, most shops and certainly big supermarkets are pretty helpful when it comes to giving out boxes. After all, they normally just through them away anyway, and you will only be wanting a few.

There is a shoe store at 19 and grand. I forgot the name, its a big store they have all the boxes you need in the back. They set them out back and people just pick them up. I live in north Kansas city, by worlds of fun. Bob Jones shoes is the name of the place, it just popped in my head.

liquor stores always have great supplies of boxes, our local one even stacks them outside so people can come take them away. They are a good size too, you can't really pack them too heavy, but you can get a fair amount of stuff in each one. They are also great for putting your extra stuff in storage.
