Because people are to ignorant to see the striking similarities with current America and Nazi Germany. Back in 1943, there abouts, to be a good German, you were a member of the Nazi party. You attended the rallies, you sent your child to Adolf Hittler School. And was proud of it. Anyone who didn't want to join was looked upon with suspicion. And thought to not be loyal to their fuehrer. I am sure they had a dirogatory name equal to liberal for those people. In Nazi Germany when your government told you that Jews, minorities, gypsies, the handicap, and homosexuals were a bad scourge on the nation and needed to be done away with. As a good Nazi you didn't ask why. You agreed, unwavering, and said how do we do it and how fast can we get it done. The neocon automaton Bushbot is the same way. Caesar say this or that, and he is never questioned. Even when he is exposed to have lied, decieved or been mistaken you have to dismiss it as a lie or propaganda by those liberals. Just as the Nazi would not admit to any wrong doing by their fuehrer, the Bushbot can not admit their Caesar could ever be wrong. He and his vipers certainly know what is best for the rest of us. Anyone who dares have a spine and question anything is a traitor. And labeled a liberal wich is equal to a political n****r. If Nazi Germany would have quietly within the safety of their own borders gassed all those Jews, and unchecked by a war, killed many more. Would the US, the Brits and France started a war with them? I am thinking no. The only thing that showed them to be wrong was that they were defeated by someone who then put them under subjection, and made them answer to it. But, no one but God is able to bring Caesar and his horde of vipers under subjection. But if there was a power on Earth that could, would all the policies of Caesar and his vipers hold water? Or would there be war crime trials to hold them accountable for the evil they have done?

It's an all-or-nothing mindset. The old "you're either with us or against us".
Too many people can't distinguish between the issues and the politicians who currently advocate them. Nor between the individuals or the political parties they belong too.
It's nice to see that there are other conservatives who can make the distinction, and realize that you can fully support the Republican party while still believing one particular individual is not representative of those ideals.

Why do people think that people think if you're against Bush, you're a liberal and/or a traitor? I think everyone should stop making generalizations, no matter how true they happen to be.

I am far to the left, but I do know many Republicans who are outraged with what this administration has done to the country.
