For example, Prince & the Revolution gave us When Doves Cry sometime in 1984 and Huey Lewis & the News gave us The Power of Love in 1985. Any one song from the decade of Flashdance, new wave, and (GASP!) all that big, bad hair!

How could someone pick just one song? I absolutely loved the 80s, especially the new wave. And When Doves Cry was awesome. And Def Lepard. George Michael. Send me an Angel (Real Life) comes to mind. Best album would have to be Pretty Hate Machine (Nine Inch Nails). But then there's U2 and I better stop there. The 80s were a great music decade. I think the decline started after grunge ended in the late 90s.

It's so hard to choose just one...

The Way You Make Me Feel- Michael Jackson
Eye Of The Tiger- Survivor
Jessie's Girl- Rick Springfield
It's The End Of The World As We Know It- R.E.M.

I wasn't born until 88 though, so it's hard to remember which songs came out around that time... they were still all playing on the radio when I was a kid though, so I still grew to love 'em.

Well Im usually in to the harder stuff but every once in a while a song comes along that is so catchy you got to love it. From the 80's here are a couple of my favorite one hit wonders

Electric Avenue - Eddy Grant

Rock me Amadeus - Falco

Most of the other bands I liked had multiple hits like Talking Heads and of course who could forget Devo!!!!!
