Depends on the size of room, how fast you work, what color the room originally was, whether you are painting trim. etc, etc...Tell the clerk behind the counter any particulars about your project and he or she can give you a rough idea.

There are a lot of factors. How many people are painting? How
large is the room? How fast do you work? Is the walls prepared for painting?

To save time, get one of those cutting-in tools, the ones that have the velour-ish pad and the little wheels. Much faster than using masking tape around trim and the ceiling. Cheap too, like about $3. Just be careful to keep the wheels out of the paint.

If you have a roller and the whole room including the ceiling is in the same color it will take approximately 11/2 hours to 2 hours depending on your room size. Factor in the trimming-15 minutes.

Depends on size of room, duh! AND how much details there are. I painted a 25 square meter room with lots of tricky parts in 4,5 hours, a bit faster the 2nd time.

Not long, but you'll never get it done if you don't get to it and quit asking questions on Yahoo.
