Hi, what are some bunny toy's that some like? I need help with litter training too. I just put the corner one in, with those small ball litter stuff. I also put some of their poop in it too. But guess what? They sit and nap in it! AND I think they are eating it too, ugh!! This can't be good, help! One more thing, I need bunny names, have any ideas? The male is a cute, small brown/tan bunny, and the female is very pretty, all black. Both are soooo soft. Thanx everyone!!

Well I think it's normal they sit in it and nap there because that's what my adult female rabbit does. They should be eating alfalfal pellets with veggies and fruits as treats. My bunny absolutely loves basil and plums.

Rabbits should be introduced in gradually increasing quantities of veggies and even smalle amounts of fruit after 8 weeks. You should read the book The House Rabbit Handbook. It's ok for rabbits to nap in the litter box, in fact you should put their timothy hay in there so that they can poo and eat at the same time. It's like reading the newspaper on the toilet. Make sure that you fill the litter box with materials like wood stove pellets or carefresh bedding. Do not use cat litter that can cause internal damange. You should also visit these websites.

NO veggies or fruit! They have to eat rabbit food because their digestive systems can't handle food like that (at least that's what Henry Rollins said and I wouldn't go against him.)

I don't think you can really "train" bunnies--they'll figure out the litter situation soon enough. I think in the wild they just hop around and poop when it suits them. Maybe they'd like a toy that they can chew on. I don't have rabbits myself--my cat is far too mean to allow one to live in peace. But I'd like one!

It relies upon on what variety of bunny you have. some bunnies would desire to attend up for 6 months earlier they are in a position to consume culmination and vegetables. extra often than not all bunnies can yet as long as a results of fact the fruit/vegetable isn't extreme in acid.

well food wise..they need a strict diet

rabbit pellets and timothy hay..

also collared greens or leaf lettuce and of course carrots. dont let anyone else tell you that fruits are good for rabbits.

stick to the simple stuff..ive had 8 bunnies (at once!)

and litter training bunnies is easy actually..get a corner litter pan..use shavings(pine) and collect there soiled out of the litter box stuff and put it in the litter box..they'll learn to use it. it takes awhile though.

and dont keep a male and female together please!! they mate!...or get the male fixed(yes you can fix rabbits..it actually helps them live longer)

to litter box train..use the other bunnies feces in the others box..they'll learn to use it.(do that with each..like use hers in his..his in hers)

Name wise..
My rex is Lucky..shes lucky..we found her running around our old neighborhood..noone claimed her

uhmm..male names: max, bugs, duncan, miles, chad...
female: lucky, seidy, cuddles, midnight(since shes all black), mandy...

Feed them rabbit pellets, They have everything in them that a rabbit needs. except for fresh water of course. You need a wire bottom cage that allows the droppings to fall through, otherwise you will have a very smelly problem. A rabbit sitting on their own feces will cause infections also. Lou
