I remember it being on late at night in the nineties, but I used to sit and read. I liked the music and the atmosphere though.

I remember late night cramming for A Levels with it on, and then at Uni after a night in the SU bar! It was pretty good - moody and a good mix of music. I know someone who did paint their door black because of that Rolling Stones song! (not me in case you're wondering)

I never missed an episode, despite the fact it was always on late at night, my dad used to tape it for me (young at the time), if you have satellite or cable you should check out the FX channel as they regularly repeat it

I loved that show. it was on CBS, on Sat. nights for the bulk of its run. Lt. Goldman, Percell, Horn, Sgt. Anderson. the whole crew! my fav. was when their Firebase Ladybird got overrun and they were short on ammo and Goldman loaded up an artillery gun with nuts and bolts and fired it point blank at the VC. they showed reruns on TNT for awhile there. what a GREAT question! and from a chic!

"I see a red door and I want to paint it black........" Man that brought back memories! I remember I couldn't believe it when the reporter (I think she was Sarge's girlfriend) got blown up. I kept waiting for the next episode to find out if it was a mistake and she survived.
