Here is the good news... You already have started.
The decision to do it is the most important step! Good for you!
Now... for the hard part.
You should start by reading.
I know... not a fun beginning, but if you want to know about acting method you had better start throwing yourself into all sorts of literature including novels, scripts, poetry ect. Also, find good books in your local library about acting method and learn from them. Use what you learn on scripts you find. Figure out what feels right and works for you!
Then... maybe when you get into High School, you should seek out acting classes. Apply the methods you learn in your research to the school plays.
After High School seek out acting in College. If you are good enough you may try out for local roles in plays.
By all means do not run away to Hollywood to seek your fortune. Get an agent after you get your experience in school and see where it takes you, but unless you know someone in the industry do not go running off! That is folly and can only get you hurt.
Good luck!

You can go to ProScout.com and see if they do any auditions around where you live. I 've tried, and I will try again in 6 months. Down here in FL, it is always July and January. I don't know about other states. But there, they accept people who either have talent for modeling or acting. It's a good place, because they bring the agents to you instead of you needing to travel around the US going to the agencies.

Study acting for 15 years, then go to college and major in theater and get a Bachelor of Arts Degree, After that get a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Theater. Audition and perform in every play that has a role that is right for you. Perform, Perform, Perform!

if your parents support you in this adventure...have them take you to get "head shots", photos you take to auditions. Check your local papers for talent auditions for community theater and try out. Perhaps you should join the drama club at school and take drama as an elective class. It's hard work, but if you have talent, and drive, and a strong support system to take you to auditions etc...you can reach for the stars...who knows you may win an emmy or an oscar one day!! Good luck!!

Take any drama classes that are available in your school, then see if your parents will allow to take some outside of your school. A school mate I went to highschool with was in all the drama classes offered and the theater group in highschool. She also went to college for it. She is now acting as a regular on one of the soap operas.

First, you want to learn and practice from school classes and plays. once you have experiance in those, you can look around for acting agencies around your area to see if they will represent you. agencies should notify you when there is open calls or auditions in the area too, so it would be a good idea to find an agency later. hope this helps. good luck.

Start with school plays to work on your craft, join the drama club in high school and/or look for openings in community theater groups.

Stay in school, learn another skill, and act on the side. Only 1 in a thousand actually succeed, even a tiny bit.
Act in school.

if I were you, I'd stick with small(meaning- school plays, local events) ideas...at least until you finish high school. If you are very serious about acting, take an acting class. We have a couple places like that in my town and they let you exercise your abilities and put on shows.
