This remark might get me some hate but I don't care.

I kinda feel bad for him. In no way do I condone what he did by driving drunk or what he said about Jewish people, but this is getting blown totally out of proportion by the media and other stupid and unimportant people like Barbara Walters. Madonna is on a world tour and opens her show with a mock crucifixion! Has NBC had any reports on that no-talent lip-syncher? No they have not! But two seconds after Mel gets booked every major news organization and web gossip site knows about it!

He has apologized numerous times and it seems that no one wants to accept it. There are a few who have forgiven him, but we will not hear about it. The only thing we will continue to hear is the negativity and the return of hateful remarks to him. Such as Joy Behar from that useless show "The View". She said that the only way Jewish people will accept his apology is if he gets a public circumcision. To me, that is just as bad as what he said. Plus, I really hate those bitches on The View.

I have forgiven Mel, and I hope that others out there follow suit. He has apologized and he is in rehabilitation. Support him. Forgive him.

Cause he got really drunk and started spouting off really ignorant things about the Jews. It was s stupid thing that he did but people need to get over it. Everyone makes mistakes. Apparently he has issues with Alcohol. He said that Jews were the reason we have war. He must have said other things too, but he is a great actor and this need not cost him his whole career. The reality is war is always instigated by someone. If he thinks that the Jews always start the war I guess that is his opinion. And opinions are like assholes.

wow, you do not read the paper or listen to the news, huh? He called a female officer "sugartits". He was driving with an open bottle of Tequila, doing 80 in a 45 speed zone. He asked if one of the officer was a Jew (which, in fact, he was) and try to make a run for it when he was arrested.

Can't say I heard about the incident the above answerer mentions. I don't think that that is true but the "sugartits" incident was in the news.
