I'm an excellent writer of letters. Business, love letters, critical letters to your boss disguised as praise or "constructive criticism" or the perfect resignation letter. Guess I am not as computer literate as I thought. I have a PayPal account .....Any ideas Please!!

Step 1. Have a look around the net and see what kind of competition you're up against.

Step 2. Investigate registering a domain name for your website and get in touch with a competent developer. For best results you might consider a local design firm specializing in web publishing, however it's often possible to achieve similar results if you're careful about the freelancer you hook up with. Look for someone that's genuinely intrigued by your idea AND who can provide a portfolio detailing examples of past work. Keep in mind there are many talented junior web developers who are anxious to cut their teeth on a professional project.

3. While working with your web designer keep this in the front of your mind at all times: "Simple is better". Take a hint from craigslist: clean no-frills page design coupled with good content WORKS (and it's easier to maintain).

4. Once you've got a site built, find hosting. This doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. Many hosting companies offer a package deal if you register your domain name through them.

5. Think marketing. Having a webpage available on the net is merely negative cashflow unless it's generating business. Try marketing your services on Craigslist and other small regional sites. Get creative with this. It doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg to let people know you're in business.

I hope this helps in some capacity. Feel free to email should you have any additional questions along this line.

At least mention Cyrano all or not with de Bergerac and see what happens.

Basically you just build the site and, think of all or not having ads on it and make sure you end up high on search engine queries. Keep in mind also that it's a tough business out there and you will constantly have to improve and distinguish from others who do similar things.

Yeah I can set up the form for you, if you would like. Free of charge, but I do accept donations of course...haha. What you need to do is start by writing down all the content you want on each page, then actually draw each page in the layout you want. If you have Photoshop or something like that, you can actually design the pages there (as a rough layout) and then next you get into the prorgrammin. You can use Dreamweaver if you want to do this yourself, but the form you'll want them to fill out will need to be done by someone who knows programming. We can discuss how you want this to work and then get it going. You'll need to register a domain name, and then buy space on a website host, like Tripod.Lycos.com or Webhost4life.com.

I would suggest making sure that you sample letters can't be simply "cut and pasted" into word. If they are going to copy your work, make it hard to do. Or possibly only include excerpts of your work.
