I dont have oily skin, but my complexion is very shiney. how do i make it go away?

That sounds like you skin is tight. You might be using a drying soap, like Irish Spring or something. Try using Dove or a different moisturizing kind of soap.

Are you washing your face all the time and using alcohol based astringents on it?

Try some water based foundation as a glue to hold a shine free powder on your skin. It doesn't matter if it's loose or in a compact.

try using oil-absorbing sheets...

Biore and Clean and Clear make them...very inexpensive and work wonders (found at most drug stores)

you can also use an oil-absorbing or oil-preventing face wash/scrub (also inexpensive and found at most drugstores)...that way your face wont be as oily all the time

battery acid,,with a little soap and water,,perferably lime soap and a good sos pad,,,,,works everytime...
