wow, at least now i can see a glimpse of those people who comprise the 35 percent of the blissfully ignorant. when did people become so afraid of confronting their government? and, yes, it's completely misguided if someone's political behavior (i.e. cherry-picking evidence, robbing the treasury, ignoring constitutional law) seems trumped by someone's personal behavior (cheating on his wife and lying about it). what's sadder is that die-hard ditto-heads can't grasp the fact that the only reason bill clinton was ever brought up on charges of lying was because the republicans had nothing else to go on. his administration was responsible (and, yes, that does include fiscally responsible republicans, too) for the single-greatest economic boom in american history. and anti-clinton politicos hated that -- because that boom came at the chagrin of corporate ceos and businesses that wanted to relocate jobs overseas. i'm a conservative. always have been. however, it's disturbing when people who support bush and claim to be conservative do so because they believe in blind faith when it comes to politics. they vote based on the 'r' or the 'd' by the name, rather than take a serious look at the candidate's platform. nothing this administration has done would ever be considered conservative (by goldwater's standards) -- not by a long shot. they lead their devoted base with 'shiny, shiny, look over here' issues that distract those who are too lazy (or too stupid) to yahoo! or google something. how many of you staunch bush supporters realize that you or someone you're close to will probably lose his/her job if this country continues down this road? or, here's something simpler: look at how people get along these day. look at how crime has increased, domestic hostility has increased, neighborhoods and families are becoming more divisive than ever. is this the kind of country you want to inhabit? one in which name-calling, racism, fear and violence are de riguer? how about this: look who profits from all our infighting. look who reaps the rewards when the top priority of this administration is to give billions of dollars in tax breaks to the wealthiest 0.2 percent of citizens. do you think paris hilton needs more money? oh, by the way, money that would be subsidized by an increase in payroll taxes and increased costs of living to offset that gift to, apparently, the most important people in america by pro-bush standards? whether or not you think this response is long, you must admit that what's going on in this country is not right, unless you enjoy economic stratification, a burgeoning corporatocracy and (dare i write it) fascism. stop being so afraid to admit that there's a problem. i by no means consider myself a liberal, but it's clear the reason that i can see the light is because i use my computer for more than trolling. the information's out there, people. seek it. or soon be prepared to be a frog in a pot of boiling water. and, no, as long as people refuse to educate themselves about the politics of their country, it'll be some time before this administration's chickens come home to roost.

Do you imagine Bush will ever get impeached at the same time as he continues to be in workplace? No. He hasn't performed something unlawful. Nor has he performed something incorrect, why ought to he be impeached? Can a President after he leaves workplace get impeached. No. it is nearly the entire aspect. What ought to happen politically if he did get impeached and others were implicated alongside him. Implicated in what? you do not make a heck of alot of expertise guy. should be the most important scandal considering the fact that Watergate? ought to WHAT be the most important scandal considering the fact that Watergate? i in my opinion do not imagine Mr Bush will EVER get impeached perchance at the same time as he does something incorrect or unlawful. Why do all liberals imagine that impeaching someone is in accordance to not approving of their habit? It takes an act of congress to question the president; and for the impeachment to be criminal he needs to be charged with a criminal offense of a few type. neither is genuine to that end. Bush has dedicated no crimes. I ask back, why do you prefer to question him? On yet another be conscious: a liberalist web site delivered up this question a lengthy time period in the past. i became in my opinion requested what i assumed ought to happen if Bush became impeached by technique of the congress. My reply: "that could be an attempt at a coo de ta`. There aren't any criminal grounds for him to be impeached, so the militia ought to proceed to maintain on with him as Commander in chief. this can make the impeachment unnecessary, as he ought to actual proclaim himself "dictator for existence" in such an adventure."

No, he will not be impeached. There are absolutely no grounds for impeachment. You can be sure that if there were, nuts like you would have started the proceedings in the House of Representatives a long time ago. I guess we are all happy enough with the job the man is doing.

Chow!!

Nah...he won't be impeached. Don't you remember what the last president was impeached for? Our country is so screwed up that we will let this fool (G.W.) continue his twisted evil reign and impeach one of the most effective modern presidents for something that really should have been dealt with by his wife (perhaps with the help of a marriage counselor!)

p.s. have all of you Bush supporters seen his "unofficial resume"? You might want to check it out: http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/blbushresume.htm

No. It is not a realistic goal for liberals and President Bush has not committed any impeachable offense.

People who get excited about impeaching Bush are terribly ignorant about politics and are being used by some rather corrupt people.

I must contest that incompetence is an impeachable offense in its very rawest form.

Although I do not see this president getting impeached, I certainly wish he would. He has driven our trade deficit to record levels, gotten thousands killed in a useless war in a country that still uses outhouses and he has lied to the American people.

I do not believe that someone who cannot form a complete sentence has the right to be president of this country.

I hope you really aren't that stupid and naive to think that Bush is really in charge. The president, the congress, the senate and most of the higher ups in the military have all been bought by one special interest group or another. Gas prices are high because the gas and oil companies have bought off the government. We are fighting two wars because someone wanted the profits so they told the government to start it. Anyone who blames Bush is so naive that they still probably believe in justice and the tooth fairy

No, and just because a president is impeached doesn't mean he will be kicked out of office. Look at Clinton
