What really helped was the fly strips, but if you have tons and tons of flies that just keep getting in even though your windows are shut, we used a shopvac to vaccuum them but you've got to remember to block off the hose after you'r done. After we were done vacuuming them up, while the vacuum was still on we sprayed fly spray into the hose then shut the shopvac off, we blocked the hose with a rag or we just put it outside. Other than that, there really isn't anything that works all that well.

Keep doors and windows closed. Once they are in tho you could put up fly strips (yeah, I know they are ugly and gross but this can help get rid of the ones you have) and try to kill everyone you see. I don't really think there are any fly repellent sprays tho I may be wrong. Like I said, keep doors and windows closed and also keep garbage away from your house and take it out of your house often.

Get some fly swatters and keep the doors and windows with screens that do not have any holes in them. You can get some fly spray that comes in natural organic type or with the poison. Either will work really good and keep any food put away and none in the garbage can. Get lids for your trash cans and just keep at them. Hard to get rid of at first but if you keep at it, it will get easier.
