I think its only humanly possible to fold any piece of paper in half 7 times.

Most times you can fold anything is 7. There is some law that goes along with it, but, I don't remember what it's called.

My calc teacher last year said something about it.

well in "half" only once, but how may time it can be folded, it is like 6 or 7 depending on your finger strength.
