I have joined a swim team and I am training to do a 3 mile ocean race in the near future. What would be the safest and best way to slim down loose excess fat Does anyone who swims competively have a recommendation on a supplement or enhancement to speed the process besides swimming alone, I have already adjusted my diet as well.

How long have you been swiming competitively? If not long - give it time, fat will come off. Have patience.

Alright to slim down if you want to loose excess belly fat. Do dolphin kick on your back DO NOT USE YOUR KNEES TO KICK. dolphin kick is always done with the abs. I have been swimming competively for 14 years. To loose some fat on your legs do flutter kick on your stomache nice loose leggs dont bend the knees so much. loose fat on your arms get some fins and do about 30 25's butterfly and that will slim your arms down very much.

And hey trust me on this i was trained by harved and stanford swim coaches michael phelps and his friends lee and shane.

DON'T use supplements, especially if your planning on doing any endurance event. Anything you take to try and speed up your metabolism could hurt you during heavy physical actvity. My own experience is that if you train right you can lose up to 10 pounds in a month. Concentrate on your workouts and the rest will come naturally.

As the first person said it takes time for the fat to start to come off. It takes me two weeks into my swim season to start losing some weight again. If not try taking Lipo 6. Its safe and it helps to lose fat.
