The Joker vs. The Pinguin. Who would win and why.?

Easy answer the Joker.

The Joker is a crazed maniac and a sadistic pyscopath killer. He is relentless and doesn't care who he kills, he once gassed a Kindergarten class full of little kids. Also, he once went on a rampaging killing spree killing 108 people in one day. He has a vast array of perpephinilia to kill people sometimes funny sometimes dangerous. Examples are his flower on his vest sometimes it actually shoots water, other times it shoots the trademark laughing gas that suffocates the victim, another example is his gun sometimes it shoots an actual bullet other times it shoots out the letters bang, one funny example was when he was coronered by a cop, it first shot out bang, then he clicked it again and the cop was killed. Besides that he is the murderer of Jason Todd, the second Robin, and the paralyzed Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) by shooting her in the spine in the comic the Killing Joke. This is all pretty impressive for a villian that doesn't have super powers or uses giant robots etc. The one thing that makes Joker standout the most is that he has no fears, he doesn't care if he dies. The Scarecrow in the 13 nights of Haloween story-line used his fear gas on Joker, to his suprise Joker wasn't affected at all and then went on to beat the Scarecrow to near death with a chair.

The Penguin on the other hand was an abused and mistreated person during his younger years for his deformed appearnces. The way he got back at society was he basically got rich, owns a restauraunt, where he pays other people to do crime, sort of like a mob boss owner.. Batman usually in the comics comes to Pengiun for tips or something like that. The only weapon he has is his umberella which he can use as a machine gun or pour out gas. THe winner is obviously Joker.

Joker since the incident that made him the Joker he has become more insane has no fear and would kill just about anyone. . Not to mention he can't controll his insanity and is a very skilled hand to hand fighter. The Joker is considered Batman's archenemy. A closer fight would be Joker vs. Two Face for the fact that they became disfigured and have become more insane.

The Joker. In the comics The Penguin has shown the capacity to love, be reasoned with, keep agreements, etc. The Joker's mind was completely destroyed when he fell into a vat full of poison -- it made him dangerous beyond help.

The joker is a much better villan all around. Also hes more brutal and unpredictable.
Read the comic called "The Killing Joke" to see what I mean.
Penguin wont really put up much of a fight too. hes a decent villan, but in a much lower league than the Joker.

Hard to say; their different motivations would define "winning" differently. Penguin would be happy just getting away with the loot (he never was a big combat monster). But the Joker does take pleasure killing, and would probably win a toe to toe combat.

The Joker hands down. He's nuts and will do anything with the right motivation. He's also go Harley Quin to back him up. She could kick the penguin's *** and has in the past.
