I am Kazakh by nationality and am deeply upset by Ali G's Borat show. Kids laugh behind my back in school although most people are to polite to laugh in my face. I know people find the show hilarious, but my question is: is it really that enjoyable? and is it fair to laugh about people of a different nationality?

by the way Kazakhs dont laugh at Chechens as you say, it is so not fair. I just feel people are so no racist when it comes to all other nations and racist when it comes to Kazakhs. Why??

Excuse me if I am wrong, but it seems the most open type of racism I have encountered.

The joke isn't on Kazakhs, but on the gullible fools that Borat kids into thinking that Kazakhs behave in the outrageous way he does. Like the group of rednecks in the USofA who sing along with Borat a song about killing Jews, or the English aristocrats who politely nod as he burps and farts his way through a meal.

Ali G is not real. Nor is he black. He's called Sacha Baron Cohen. He's jewish, surely posing as a black person could be considered racist also?

You sound like you have some deep issues mate. It is good to laugh at yourself and to enjoy somebody elses perspective of your way of life. He is not being racist- he is an artist. rather than painting what he sees, he humourises it. get a life...
