How did you guys like the movie The Cable Guy?
I thought that Jim Carrey did a great job playing the titled character but the movie itself wasn't that great, the first half of the movie was enjoyable but the second half was where I started not liking the movie, I am glad that Jim Carrey showed the audience that he can play a more serious role than he did in his previous movies.

I agree! Jim Carrey is a superb actor and he was great in 'The Cable Guy', but the film itself was rather poor! I have a feeling that if Jim wasn't in the film then it would never have been as big as it was!

I like the movie even though it didn't do well, Jim Carrey is a good actor and the reason I liked the movie was because of the humour in it, there were some very good and funny one-liners. There were some dry spots in the movie, I agree.

Most people just go along with the critics opinion on this film. All this says to me is that they are not "real" Jim Carrey fans. When it first came out people said: Don't watch it you won't like it, but I did. I have always judged films for myself because sometimes others will tell you not to see something that ends up being pretty good.

I am a big Jim Carrey fan, so I really liked the movie. It was a dark comedy and very well done. Not everyone can understand such movies,the humor is more subtle.

jim carrey is a great actor and he did a good job in this movie too. the story was a little stupid, but the moral was great! *^_^*

I think that Jim Carey is such a terrific actor as he is great in everything that he plays in; however, I thought that the movie itself was terrible.

I like it! Very funny! Jim is such a psycho. I LOVE the Medieval Nights scene.

I love jim carey he's one of my favorite comedians! I liked the cable guy and my favorite scene was when they did karioke and steven got drunk.

I love that movie. It's much smarter compared to a lot of his other comedies.
