Iran says it will set off a nuclear bomb on august 22?

I read about this from a couple of sources. their wacko leader said it. so did thier religious leader and a syrian religious leader. I guess the date has some significance to it. it was the date supposible when mohamed flew up to heaven from jerusalem. is there any way to stop it or is fate involved

The festival is celebrated by telling the story of how the Prophet Muhammad was visited by two archangels while he was asleep, who purified his heart and filled him with knowledge and faith.

According to Islamic tradition, the Prophet travelled from Mecca to Jerusalem in a single night on a strange winged creature called Buraq. From Jerusalem he ascended into heaven lighting up the skies over the holy city in his wake. In heaven, he met the earlier prophets, and eventually God.

During his time in heaven Muhammad was told of the duty of Muslims to recite Salat (ritual prayer) five times a day.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the man to watch these days. Leaders of the Iranian hard-line regime, believe they have a direct line to God, and they'll do whatever 'divine inspiration' requires them to do. Talking to them is pointless. Ahmadinejad, whose proxy army Hizbullah is now waging war against Israel, has promised to respond to European and American demands to cease his country's illicit nuclear programs on August 22. On Tuesday he rejected a UN Security Council resolution that would give Iran until Aug. 31 to suspend uranium enrichment.

I haven't heard about that, you may want to check CNN, or FOX news to make sure that you haven't heard a viscous rumor. I remember hearing after 9/11 that someone had poisoned the water source for the entire eastern seaboard. NOT TRUE, check it out before you really worry. If it is true, then call or write your congressman or Governor and let them know that you want them to do what ever they can to keep that from happening.
