go into program files and manually delete the files.

look for other bad programs it installed too, like gator.

then go to download.com, and get adaware. it's the best free spyware sweeper out there, and will help find all the other hidden 'gems' kazaa installed.

make sure to write down all the names of things on the 'threat' list that are not tracking cookies. after deleting the items from adaware, run a normal windows search, using the names that you wrote down (i'll use gator as an example again). manually delete them all.

if you think you got them all, wait a week, and run an adaware sweep again. if the same items pop up, you didn't get rid of everything, and they're trying to recover and reinstall all their files again...

kazaa was great when it first came out, but became a bad version of e-quicksand when it started installing all these background programs.

once done, IF you still wish to be a pirate (arrr, me matey...) download and install limewire pro. you have to pay a little for it, but it's the best i've ever used (for LEGAL purposes, of course...)

hit Ctrl + alt + del, and then check if kazaa is in any of your running processes, or reboot in safe mode F8 key on start up, and uninstall then. Also get UTORRENT for downloads its so much better than that kazaa limewire garbage. You cna download whole albums at once, without all the viruses and crap. Send me a message I'll give you the link to the program.

you have to delete kazaa out file by file. go to search for a file and enter keyword kazaa. download the free version of limewire to get music and videos.

Hmm..Have you tried this website

http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Scroll down until you see a program called Kazaa Begone.

If you want a site that does not add spyware then check out Ares Galexy. I use it for Movies and music

kazaa is only going to end up gettin you a virus. Unless you got the real version tha you payed for your going to start gettin alot of ads and if you click on them theres a possibility that you can get a virus

Go to www.download.com and install CCleaner. Use its uninstaller. Then for free music that is not a pain in the as-s to unisntall get Limewire. It is very easy and does not give you viruses(the music doesnt but the programs sometimes do so watch out.)

Well, first, go to your start menu, go to programs, there it should say "Kazza". Roll over it and click unistall from there. It shpuld work. If ioes'nt, then your computer may be decaying, and go to get it fixed right away. I had the same problem with Limewire. Don't use those programs, they will destroy your computer.
