That exact thing happened to me too. I was depressed for about two months. It takes time to recover from your heartbreak but in time you will find yourself liking someone else and then you'll realize that life is too short to be stuck on one person. Just try to be yourself and let fate take its course. Good luck!!!!!!

Well, what I have learned over the years is that to get over someone, you have to not focus on the good, but focus on the bad. The fact that she broke your heart means that there was something wrong in the relationship. Don't focus on the fact that there were some good times. Focus on the bad times that ended up causing this break-up. I know it's hard though. My ex still calls to tell me he misses me, and that was more than 4 years ago. If you find someone else, your pain will likely ease. Just make sure they are not a rebound girlfriend.

I know its hard, and i know everyone has said it but you just have to forget about it. Relize that it if were meant to be it would be but its not so just remeber that there is someone out there for you that will love you and respect you, you just have to find her. That's the fun the search for someone else. But dont' rush thing take some time to figure out what it is that you really want in a women. Good luck

i have experienced the same thing but mine was for six years. the best i could give to you would be try not to stay home in the dark try to get out with some friends and not think about it. it might prolong it but the more you do it the better you will be able to face the problem in general

Well, I guess you should find a new love mate. Why did she dump you? Add in additional details, because I think I need more details to solve this question/problem.

go on a jog. and think about how much she hurt you and think about what you learned from the relationship.time heals all wounds, even though you may be breakin down inside now, in a year or so you'll be back to normal.

Move on. First loves fail a lot. She is not worth it. Just make sure you learn from it.

Time will heal. Allow yourself time to feel the pain and move on.
